Yoga + Alternative

Autumn Andrella

I started my yoga journey 10 years ago. I was an overworked, completely exhausted wife and mother of three amazing daughters. I had no idea truly what yoga was or how much it was going to impact my life.

It wasn’t long before I felt the pull to take teacher training. About halfway through, I knew I was heading in the right direction and that sharing yoga was in my future. After graduating with my 200-hour certification, I was still hungry for more, so I went on to complete my 300-hour. I am currently an E-RYT 500 and recently took the STOTT.

I love creating a space for yogis to explore, ignite, listen, and respond… to “wake up their inner bad-ass!”

When I’m not teaching, I’m outside with my best friend—Mother Nature—or hanging out with the A-TEAM. I might be a power yogi at heart, but I welcome all yogis to roll out their mat and share the practice with me.

Om shanti.

John Buckner

John is an RYT-200 who has been teaching yoga since 2020. He began his journey in 2014 to help with back pain, but the mat gave him so much more. Starting at nearly 400 lbs, his practice offered him weight loss, self-confidence, and a total transformation.

John is incredibly passionate about sharing yoga with everyone. Because of his larger stature, he hopes to inspire people to experience the amazing benefits of movement, proving that EVERY BODY IS A YOGA BODY. Beyond the studio, John is working on his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to continue his mission of helping others.

Adding more fire to his flow, John is now Barre and Mat Pilates trained! He’s ready to help you grow that booty while you’re working that booty, bringing a fun and focused burn to your workout.

Come enjoy one of his classes on a Friday afternoon, where you never know what song will play next. Also, stick around for his restorative yoga class on Sunday, where he will slow you down and soothe your soul with calming singing bowls and gentle assists.

Virginia Comignaghi

Virginia began practicing Iyengar Yoga in 2005 as a natural healing remedy for her body. To her surprise, yoga not only resolved the pain in her feet, but it also helped her deal with past emotional turmoil. Immediately, she felt called to share yoga with others.

Her passion for yoga and a healthy lifestyle led her to work as a holistic health coach for 12 years. During that time, she supervised a high-volume wellness department within a chiropractic office. She would teach and enthusiastically share the yogic way with anyone willing to practice or listen.

Virginia graduated from Yoga Strong's School of Yoga in Spring 2016 and is Yoga Alliance certified as an E-RYT 200. After completing her training, she committed to teaching yoga full-time and has never looked back. She has continued her education with studies in the Art of Assisting and Adjusting postures, Anatomy & Physiology, and Pranayama.

Virginia's yoga roots lie in Iyengar Yoga, and her passion for its foundational principles has inspired her to teach workshops centered on this ancient practice. She later developed a strong interest in Journey into Power by Baron Baptiste, which influenced her to create her own version of the sequence. She calls it “The Sequence,” a 90-minute flow of all 53 postures that she teaches regularly.

A few times each year, she offers a 7-day cleanse paired with a 2-hour Detox Flow. This program includes a healthy eating plan and at-home cleansing methods that are accessible to anyone. Her Detox Flow incorporates internal organ stimulation through postures and emphasizes breathwork as a powerful tool to cleanse both the mind and body.

Virginia’s detox method was featured in the January 2018 issue of Cleveland Magazine. She remains deeply grateful to the teachers who have inspired her along her journey.

Her personal practice includes Bikram, Iyengar, and Power Vinyasa yoga, which she believes create a strong foundation for longevity. Virginia’s goal is to guide her students toward falling in love with yoga while deepening their connection to their true selves.

Yoga Mamma Emi

Yoga Mamma Emi was raised by her devout grandmother in a family deeply rooted in Japanese Buddhism. She moved to the United States at age 26 and has since embraced life as a devoted wife and mother.

In 2016, her yoga journey began, rekindling the wisdom passed down from her grandmother and sparking a fascination with classical yoga texts. Emi holds both YTT 200 and YTT 500 certifications and has taught over 2,000 hours. While she enjoys the transformative power of yoga, she is committed to preserving its original essence.

As of 2026, she focuses on making the 15th-century Hatha Prajpika accessible and relevant in a contemporary, easy-to-understand way.

Masha Foenko

I've started my yoga journey with a 2016 New Year's gift card from my husband. In a short period of time, l've realized my passion for not only practicing, but also sharing yoga with others. In 2018 l've completed my 200-hour training with Baptist affiliate, Hot yoga Revolution studio in New Jersey.

I love to teach the Journey into Power sequence, by itself it is very powerful and challenging. I also love to play around with shapes and spicing up the sequence in smart and intuitive ways leading up to a fun peak pose!

I am a mother of two daughters and a French bulldog boy. I love to travel and stay active in my Yoga practice as well as Pilates. If I had to choose one type of cuisine for the rest of my life I would go with Japanese food; | love sushi! I am also a huge fan of detectives - most of the time I know who the bad guy is in the first 10 minutes.

For anyone wondering my accent is Russian with a hint of New York.

Grace Foote

Hi I'm Grace!

My yoga journey began in 2019 when a friend invited me to my first Hot Power class. As a former athlete, I had been searching for something to fill the space that organized sports once held in my life — something that would challenge me physically while also allowing me to grow spiritually and emotionally.

From that very first class, I knew I had found it.

What I didn't expect was the depth of connection and community that would come along with it. The friendships, the shared energy, and the sense of belonging became just as meaningful as the practice itself. As I step into my role as a teacher, my hope is to nurture that same sense of connection - to hold space in a way that honors what was given to me and to pay it forward to every student who walks into class.

I earned my RYT-200 in 2023 from Yoga Bliss, originally intending to deepen my personal practice.

But once training began, it became clear that teaching was part of my path. Any hesitation quickly dissolved into passion, and I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.

Since then, I've continued expanding my movement education. I am recently trained in the STOTT Pilates method for both Reformer and Mat, and l am also Barre Intensity Certified. I love blending strength, precision, and mindful movement into everything | teach.

Outside the studio, I'm happiest staying active, spending time outdoors, and traveling. I love exploring new gyms and studios, always chasing that feeling of being challenged and inspired. I'm also a devoted animal lover with two fur babies — my cat Smooch and my 150-lb Rottweiler, Ruger.

And if you ever want to talk plants, I'm your person -I'm a proud collector of over 100 tropical houseplants and will happily swap tips anytime.

In my classes, expect high energy, a bumpin' playlist, laughter, thoughtful sequencing, and intentional, inspiring messaging. I can't wait to move with you and continue building this community together.

Hope to see you in class!

Lisa Longo

Movement is my passion both on and off the mat. When I am not teaching, I am a proud mama to my beloved Maltese, Betty. I enjoy weight training, reading, running, participating in the Akron Race Series, and discovering music that inspires powerful and meaningful class experiences.

Whether you have practiced with me for years or are stepping into my class for the first time, you will be seen, remembered, and welcomed as family. I value strong leadership, positive energy, and creating an environment where every student feels supported, empowered, and at ease.

My classes balance strength and softness, blending challenging flows, inversions, and arm balances with grounding yin elements. Expect thoughtful themes, moments of self inquiry, and space to receive exactly what you need that day. My intention is always the same: to help every student feel connected, confident, and at home within our sweat equity community.

Amber Miller

Hey there, I'm Amber!

I first discovered Yoga in 2020, midst-Pandemic. I had taken one yoga class many years prior, and it was a Deep Stretch-style class after a CrossFit-style workout class. It was a great stretch, but I thought that was all that Yoga had to offer to me.

Come 2019, I was in a car accident that left me with a back injury. I could no longer continue the high-impact HIlT workouts that I had been doing. I heard about a new aspiring Yoga studio opening down the road from me, so I decided to try a class. "What could it hurt?" It was then that I learned not only the physical, but the mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits that Yoga had to offer me. Yoga heals.

Since that day I have established a consistent personal practice that I can't live without. I have completed my 200 and 300 hour YTT, training and certifications in Aerial Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Pre/Postnatal Yoga, Reiki and Thai Yoga Massage. I intend to continue my education in many different styles of Yoga.

Fun Fact: 1 am a Safety Specialist and CPR instructor!

I am truly passionate about offering safety in every setting that | lead. When I'm not teaching, I love concerts, playing golf, and living life with my Fiance Kenny and my fur family.

My goal is to help anyone, and everyone, feel the freedom and love that Yoga has to offer, just as it has offered to me. Namaste!

Sarah Seifert

I'm Sarah, and love this incredible journey called life! Like you, I'm just one soul trying to do my best in this world and find all the love and beauty along the way.

Yoga found me during the pandemic shutdowns- a point in my life when I was focused on loving and caring for everyone but myself. I was unable to recognize how my body and soul were suffering.

Since my clumsy beginnings in yoga to my near daily practice, I have found healing that I never expected and I have begun to understand that I can do more than appreciate beauty, I can create it.

My hope as a yoga teacher is to help facilitate this self discovery for others. I am privileged to be a mom to 3 incredible children who keep me busy and constantly remind me how wondrous this world is.

They humble me and inspire me every day.

I am also the lucky wife of Matt Seifert, a yogi, breath coach, and incredible human who never stops trying to make our world a little better.

My favorite thing about yoga is the philosophy of seeing light and love in every person. I believe in this passionately and always have. In my classes I aim to help students of yoga peel back layers of thought and physical limitations so that they can do more than see light and love in others- but discover it within themselves.

Jackie Summers

Jackie began her own yoga journey seven years ago, when friends challenged her to a hot power class. She soon discovered that yoga provides not only a vigorous workout, but an opportunity to truly disconnect from the stressors of everyday life and focus solely on breath, movement, and simply being. Recognizing the profound physical and mental benefits, Jackie became 200 RYT certified and began sharing her yoga practice with her high school students and colleagues through after-school programs, as well as providing professional development to school staff on incorporating yoga in the classroom. She furthered her movement education by completing STOTT Pilates Mat Training in 2023. Jackie is excited to share her creative, compassionate teaching style with PeaceCore members in the Peace Studio.
